About Gilton

Giton Electricals is a firm established in the City of Chandigarh, on 20th September 1972 and was started by Mr. Sukhchain Gill. The firm in its early years started primarily as a trading concern for lighting luminaires, lamps & Gears and electrical construction material. Over the years, since the association with Philips Electronics India Limited (Lighting Division) in 1991, the organization has shown up performance in every aspect and has evolved from a trading setup to a concern offering complete lighting solutions.

At Gilton Electricals, we have two display showrooms with the ‘Lighting lounge’ concept at our address at SCO 28, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh, and at SCO 667, Sector 70, Mohali. The Lighting lounge showrooms are based on the concept of display of decorative & commercial lighting products, all the while simulating the atmosphere of actual usage, combined with the ambience of a lounge in which a customer can comfortably experience the products and choose the products as per their requirement.

We at Gilton also undertake lighting projects on turnkey basis. Being more than 38 years old in the field of lighting, the organization is very well equipped to handle any kind of professional lighting project. Not only this, our experience in this field also enables us in educating our customers about the best option available. We provide our clients with complete packages including design, supply installation, testing & commissioning .

Our team provides our clients with complete bill of materials, lighting & electrical layouts, detailed light level array, and other valuable information for producing a top-quality lighting result. The applications include facades, roadways, indoor facilities including offices and retail spaces, area lighting, sports lighting and specialized lighting etc. All this is done with the help of computer simulated lighting design software developed by Philips .

In Lighting, we also have our own brand of lighting products by the name of LITECRAFT. The range of these products is mostly decorative, with applications in areas such as residences & apartments, brand stores & retail, hotels & hospitality, offices & reception areas, cafeterias, and other areas.

In addition to our business at Gilton, we also have our sister concern of Faradays Cable Corporation at our Chandigarh address, also in the same line of business of lighting.
